Riva sunca d.o.o. wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to find information about Hotel Bellevue and book a stay. This statement applies to www.bellevuehotel.hr and is published in line with the Croatian Act on Accessibility Requirements for Products and Services, which implements the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882).
Compliance status
The website is partially compliant with the harmonised standard EN 301 549, which refers to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. The exceptions are listed below.
How the website meets the requirements
- Every page has a “Skip to content” link, a logical heading structure and a correct language setting, and the pages are available in Croatian and English.
- The site can be used with the keyboard alone, and focus is clearly visible.
- Photos have text descriptions (alternative text) in both languages; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Texts and buttons meet colour contrast requirements, and the layout adapts to zoom and small screens.
- The hero slideshow can be paused, and animations are reduced when the device is set to reduce motion.
- Form fields have visible labels, errors are explained in text, and the security code can be refreshed.
- The same information is available through several channels: website, phone, e-mail, WhatsApp and the reception, which is open 24 hours.
Description of the service
On this website you can read about the hotel, the rooms and suites, dining, wellness and the surroundings, send an enquiry with the contact form, and check availability and book through the online booking engine. Booking can also be made by phone (+385 22 646 400) or e-mail (sales@bellevuehotel.hr), with the same rates and conditions.
Content that is not yet fully accessible
- Online booking engine: availability checks and bookings run on the booking engine of our partner Phobs (secure.phobs.net), whose accessibility we cannot fully control. If it does not work for you, please book by phone or e-mail – we will give you the same rate.
- PDF documents: the general terms and conditions and other PDF documents may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We will send you the content in an accessible format on request.
- Videos: any videos in the slideshow are decorative, without speech, and have no captions.
We are working on removing these limitations.
